맵피 (mappy) has recently undergone significant improvements with its latest update. The update includes a fresh user interface (UI) and a new graphical user interface (GUI). A new 'Easy Mode' has been introduced for quick navigation to saved locations like home or work and recent destinations. The search menu has been simplified, allowing all searches to be accessed on a single screen. Search results now display alongside the map for enhanced visibility. Route guidance has been optimized for both portrait and landscape modes, with improved nearby search functionality.
Users can now select waypoints during route planning and utilize TBT (Turn-By-Turn) guidance by tapping on upcoming or subsequent guidance points. The app also offers a preview of new features through the Mappy Research Institute, where user feedback is welcomed. A unique addition is the introduction of Real View, providing actual photos for complex intersections. Additionally, users can now predict congestion length and travel time for upcoming traffic sections. The app supports iOS 10 and above, with recommended use on iPhone 6 or later models.
